Everything you do counts
Seniors who do it all already know the value of being well-rounded. Through star performance in the classroom, on the field, and in the community, you or your students have done everything it takes to prepare for college and the real world beyond. And that means you, or your students, could have exactly what it takes to become a Wendy’s High School Heisman.
Get With The Program: High School Heisman Program Criteria & Award Eligibility
Students who apply will be judged based on their academic achievements, athletic accomplishments, community-leadership, and involvement in various extracurricular activities during grades 9 through 11.
Who’s Judging?
ACT, Inc., a leader in the educational testing and services field, scores applicants and determines School Winners, State Finalists, and State Winners. After State Winners are selected, our distinguished panel of judges takes over. Program judges include representatives from the worlds of education, business, and sports along with former college Heisman Memorial Trophy Award winners and former national Wendy’s High School Heisman winners. The judges carefully review nomination forms and vote on the National Finalists and National Winners.
Award Eligibility
For an application to make it to the judging process, students must complete and submit their applications by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on October 2, 2013. A school official must review and approve each student’s application by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on October 4, 2013.
