Plans After High School:
“When dealing with short term goals, I want to wake up everyday of my senior year of high school and take advantage of the opportunities that are available. Whether it be continuing to train and qualifying for Senior Nationals in the 400 Yard Individual Medley or participating in the Race tor the Cure in the spring in Washington, I want to make the most of my last days of high school. After graduating, I plan to go on to college where I want swim in addition to majoring in chemical engineering. Applying the degree I earn from college, I would like to work in research on diseases in a lab developing drugs and treatment, specifically for cancer, so that I can help those who suffered from cancer as my mother did with breast cancer. I plan to also remain being an active member of my church, being a Eucharistic Minister and participating in community activities such as coaching a summer swim team. I feel it is important to give back to the community with something you are enthusiastic about. I have learned so much from my family and I would like to continue to add to that wisdom as I create a family of my own someday.”
